What this site is

CPSScore.com is a CPS test — a click speed test. You pick a test length, click or tap the pad, and the page reports how many clicks per second you managed: your CPS, your total clicks, your peak CPS, your average and a consistency score, plus a graph of your pace second by second.

Everything is computed in the page you are looking at. There is no account, no login, no email field and no leaderboard. Your personal best and your run history are saved by your own browser, on your own device.

Who runs it

CPSScore.com is built and maintained by one person, working under the site name CPSScore. There is no company behind it, no team, no agency and no support desk. It is a small, single-purpose site, and it is meant to stay that way.

Why it exists

The idea was simple: a click speed test should put the pad in front of you and then get out of the way. No countdown you did not ask for, no "create an account to save your score", no pop-up between your click and your number. That is the whole design brief.

What it deliberately does not do

  • No accounts. Nothing to register, nothing to log into, no email required to see a score.
  • No upload. Your results are never sent to a server. They are calculated in your browser and saved in your browser's local storage, under the keys cpstest.best.v1 and cpstest.hist.v1.
  • No leaderboard. There is no ranking, because a ranking would need a server and a way to check whether a score was produced by a hand or by a macro. This page does not police that, so it does not rank it either.
  • No analytics. There is no tracking script on these pages.
  • No cheating detection. The page counts whatever the browser reports. An auto clicker will produce a high number here, and the page says so plainly instead of pretending otherwise.

How it is built

Three static files — HTML, CSS and a single JavaScript file — with no framework and no build step. The click timing uses the browser's own high-resolution clock, the graph is drawn on a canvas, and the site is served as static files over Cloudflare's network. Nothing on the page needs a server to respond in order to work.

Advertising

There is no advertising on the site right now. Third-party advertising will be added later to cover the running costs. When that happens, the privacy policy will be updated to name the provider before or at the same time as the ad code goes live. See the privacy policy for the current state.
